THE FACTSHEET

Focused by design.
Open to your perspective.

SATAInterview combines topic anchors, participant-authored responses, and optional AI suggestions in an interview whose path can be inspected.

Participant perspective at the center of connected interview topicsYourperspective

The focus guides the conversation. Your response supplies the meaning.

01

Researcher-defined focus

Configure the topic, anchors, question limits, and interview style. Existing sessions retain the study configuration they started with.

02

Participant choice

Answer in your own words before revealing suggestions. Select statements and reasons that fit, add your own, express uncertainty, or skip.

03

Visible branching

Inspect the actual routing rule, selected focus, and cited earlier responses. AI-proposed purposes are labeled as interpretations.

04

Continuity and recovery

Saved questions survive reconnects. Pause and resume an authorized session, and retry interrupted operations without silently discarding progress.

05

Durable interview records

GCS stores the session. For new interviews under the updated notice, full interview records are queued for the configured xAPI LRS, with delivery status and retries.

06

Reusable session APIs

Existing authorized APIs expose session start, answers, streaming questions, pause, resume, history, and export. Branching travels with the question record.

FROM QUESTION TO RECORD

The context stays with the answer.

Exact wording, selected reasons, participant text, and recorded branching belong together. A delivery marked pending is not yet an LRS receipt.

What the software does not claim

Suggested answers are possibilities, not correct answers. Participation counts do not prove validity or saturation. Generated explanations need interpretation, and the sample interviews are fictional demonstrations rather than research findings.
